Privacy policy

Who we are
Smart Metrics Company, a Saudi company based in Riyadh, Unified National Number 7055231125, is responsible for the personal data that reaches us through this website. For any question or request about your data, email info@smartmetrics.sa.
What this policy covers
What we collect when you visit smartmetrics.sa, or email us, message us on WhatsApp, or book a meeting. Each of our products has its own privacy terms, given to its customers before they subscribe.
What we collect, and how
- When you visit: like any web server, ours in Riyadh records each request: the page and when, the site you came from (not the full link), your browser and device type, and your IP address with its last part removed. When you press a booking button or open the short link smartmetrics.sa/meet, the request passes through our server first and is recorded like any page visit (which button, and when), then you're sent on to the booking page.
- When you email us: your name, your email address, and what you write or attach.
- When you message us on WhatsApp: your mobile number, the name and photo on your account if visible, and what you write or send, including files and voice notes.
- When you book a meeting: your name and email, which Google's booking page asks for, and the time you choose.
The website has no forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and loads nothing from anyone else. We never ask for sensitive data, such as health information, so please don't send us any. Contacting us is entirely optional; we just can't reply without an address to reply to.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to you, arrange the meeting you ask for, and prepare a proposal if you ask for one: your consent, which you give by contacting us. You can withdraw it at any time just by telling us; we then stop and delete your messages, unless a law requires us to keep them. If we go on to agree on work together, the basis is our agreement.
- To protect the website from abuse and count visits and the pages read: our legitimate interest in running a safe website, without knowing who you are.
- To meet a legal obligation, where one applies.
We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't send you marketing without your consent. We make no decision about you by automated means alone.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers we run our business on, and only as far as needed:
- Google: our email, the booking calendar and Google Meet meetings.
- Meta: WhatsApp.
- The website's host: its server is in Riyadh.
Google handles our email, and the website's host its data, for us and only on our instructions; the booking page follows Google's terms; WhatsApp is Meta's own service and follows Meta's terms. Data reaches them each time you contact us, not just once. We may also disclose data where a law or a competent authority requires it.
Transfers outside the Kingdom
The website's visit records stay on our server in Riyadh. What you send us by email or WhatsApp, and your booking, passes through Google's and Meta's services and may be stored on their servers outside the Kingdom, in countries that include the United States and countries in Europe: email under our contract with Google, the booking page under Google's terms, and WhatsApp under Meta's terms. We use these services because they are how you choose to reach us, and we transfer your data outside the Kingdom for no other purpose.
How long we keep it, and how it's deleted
- Visit records: 90 days, then the server deletes them automatically.
- Correspondence and bookings: no longer than 12 months after our last contact, then we delete it, unless a law requires longer, or you become a customer and our terms of service apply.
- We delete anything sooner if you ask, unless a law prevents it.
How we protect it
Connections to this website are encrypted, its settings block any file or code from anyone else, full IP addresses are never kept, and only those who need your messages to reply to you can read them. If an incident ever affects your data, we tell the competent authority and you, as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you may:
- know what we collect about you and why; this page is part of that.
- ask to see the data we hold about you, and get a copy in a common electronic format, or printed if you prefer.
- ask us to correct or update it.
- ask us to delete it when we no longer need it.
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what came before.
- go to court for compensation if a breach of the law harms you.
Email info@smartmetrics.sa. Requests are free. We reply within 30 days; if a request needs longer, we tell you why before the 30 days end, and finish within 30 more days at most. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so your data never goes to someone else.
Children, and acting for someone else
This website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. A parent or guardian can also use these rights on a child's behalf, once we've checked the guardianship.
Cookies and other services
This website puts no cookies on your device. Our links to WhatsApp and to Google's booking page take you to services that are not ours; what happens there follows their own privacy policies.
Complaints
If you have any concern about how we handle your data, email info@smartmetrics.sa and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, or prefer to go straight to the regulator, you can complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) through its data governance platform at dgp.sdaia.gov.sa.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top, and say so at the top if the change is significant. We keep every earlier version and send it to you if you ask.
- 18 October 2026: first version.
